Welcome!

We rejoice every time we see a new face in the pews, or even a new visit online! Thank you for your interest in St Philip's Parish. St Philip's is a growing community of Catholic Christians who gather throughout the week, especially for Holy Mass on Sundays, to live out the peace and joy that God offers us in Christ-centered community. Our diverse congregation is comprised of young families, single people, teens, retirees, and everyone in between. Our former convent also now houses a dozen or so young Catholic men who offer their time and talents to the parish.

We look forward to answering any questions you may have. In the meantime, please look through the resources we’ve made available on these pages:

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When are masses held?

    Weekdays: 8 AM

    Saturdays: 8 AM & 5PM

    Sundays: 8 AM & 10:30 AM

  • I have small children. Is this ok?

Yes! Bring all of your little ones. If the Church isn't crying, then it's dying.

  • What do I do if I'm not Catholic?

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, a.k.a. a re-entering into Christ's Crucifixion for us, is for all of mankind. St. Pio of Petriclina once quipped that "It would be easier for the world to exist without the sun than without the Holy Mass." Absolutely come to Mass! If you are not Catholic please join the communion procession with your arms crossed over your chest to signal that you would like a blessing from the priest, but do not recieve the Eucharist. You may discuss becoming Catholic with any member of our parish clergy or staff.

  • How should I dress for Mass or services?

Please dress respectfully, simply, comfortably, and modestly. Above all else though, please come as your lovely self. We strive for holy souls, not holy jeans :)

  • How do I become Catholic?

We're glad you asked! We welcome you to contact the church office to meet with our pastor. We've also provided some introductory answers on this website.
